About Us
The mission of American Pet Cross is to serve as
a national focus and funding organization to support animals in
the areas of disaster relief, adoption, advocacy and special projects.
Our goal is to supplement and increase the already exemplary efforts
by such groups as The Humane Society, The ASPCA, Emergency Vets,
the American Veterinarian Medical Association, as well as the
thousands of individual efforts already ongoing in these areas.
In order to accomplish these goals we will focus on the following:
- National fundraising and
distribution of those funds to established
organizations for their continued progress, and
capability expansion in the areas listed above.
- Collaboration and facilitation
with national partners for providing
food, water, shelter, transportation,
communication, and logistics supply chain
assistance in the areas above when needed.
- Solicitation and recruitment of
additional money and resources from federal and
state governments for the areas listed above.
- Solicitation of volunteers on a
national basis to support each of the areas
above, as well as individual donations to those causes.
- The creation of an American Pet Cross
Store where up to 70% of profit margins from
the purchase of American Pet Cross related
products and services will be rechanneled back
into the foundation to support ongoing projects
and work in the areas mentioned above.
- To provide other countries
throughout the world a global model
for animal support, relief and protection.
The American Pet Cross is focusing
on fundraising for the expansion of resources and
capabilities for those organizations and individuals
who provide support in the areas above.
