A Mystery: Pet Dog Turns Up in Chicago (Turks.US)
A Maltese dog named Max owned by Richard Gonzales of West Palm Beach, Fla, vanished few months ago and lastly bowed up 1200 miles away in Chicago. Gonzales said that his dog went missing on his daughter’s yard in Brandon, Fla. He reported that the disappearance was due to pet theft.

Some Cape Town pet owners love their animals so much they have threatened to commit suicide if they are forced to give any up in terms of a proposed bylaw which seeks to restrict the number of dogs and cats per household.
