American Pet Cross Rescue Camps™

Hundreds of thousands of animals are abandoned each year. Though many of these animals are captured and supported by local Human Societies or Rescue Groups, the number of animals needing to be rescued far exceeds the number of rescuers and facilities available.

As a way to continue eliminating the problem of abandoned animals in the United States, The American Pet Cross Foundation is proposing the establishment of an American Pet Cross Rescue Camp™ network. The American Pet Cross Rescue Camp™ will be a shelter and rescue operation that can be established by any community that wants to make the rescue and protection of abandoned animals a priority.

Ideally, here’s the perfect situation for the establishment of an American Pet Cross Rescue Camp™:

  1. The donation or purchase of 1-100, acres that can be set aside for the establishment and growth of the American Pet Cross Rescue Camp™ facility. There are numerous income tax and estate tax benefits from making such a donation. American Pet Cross can work with your legal or tax advisor to help you determine the best strategy for your situation.
  2. The erection of a state-of-the-art shelter with the appropriate staffing and support. This can be a current fund raising project for the American Pet Cross Foundation in your local area. Models of different shelters commensurate with zoning requirements can be made available once the local foundation makes its intent known to create an American Pet Cross Rescue Camp™.
  3. Affiliation with local supporting veterinarians who will assist with interim staffing and medical services for rescued animals, as well as creating a volunteer group around this concept from the local animal community.

The vision of the American Pet Cross Rescue Camp™ is to enlist the support of thousands of land owners around the United States who have an interest in the rescue of abandoned animals. These owners do not wish their land to be used for development purposes, but instead wish to implement a conservation approach to the land, creating a benefit for animals who need a place to live.

The American Pet Cross Rescue Camp™ solution is both scaleable and cloneable across the country. Contact us today to arrange an appointment to discuss the possibility of your American Pet Cross Rescue Camp™.
